Argentina holidays

Our Argentina holidays are independent routes that we've created with a selection of our shorter Argentina tours. We’ve carefully selected small-scale, well-maintained and authentic accommodation that is conveniently located and full of local character. One great thing about our Argentina holidays is the variety of transport that you’ll take, ranging from comfortable tourist express buses, to local buses and domestic flights. You’ll travel independently, but occasionally you'll join an international group.

You can request an itinerary using our quote request form or build your own Argentina trip with our Argentina tours.

Prices below are valid until the 30th April 2012 and are based on two people travelling and exclude international and domestic flights. Prices for departures beyond this date and for international and domestic flights are available on request. For departures during peak seasons (e.g. Easter, summer holidays, Christmas and New Year) supplements may apply.

Argentina itinerary 4

Go Patagonia

Duration 23 days/ 22 nights
Price £1,885 per person - based on 2 people sharing
Departure daily

Highlights: Buenos Aires - Trekking in Tierra del Fuego - Glaciers and icebergs - Trekking in El Chalten - Torres del Paine - The Lake District - Whale watching

This Argentina holiday is tailored towards travellers looking for outdoor adventure and wildlife in some of the most remote areas of Patagonia and will also take you from Argentina across the border to Chile. After a day acclimatising in Buenos Aires, you’ll fly directly to the southernmost town in the world, Ushuaia. At Calafate and Chalten, you’ll sail past giant floating icebergs and creaking glaciers before crossing the border into Chile and the Torres del Paine National Park where you'll find some of the most breathtaking scenery in Patagonia. You’ll spend one night here, but we can always extend your stay if you want to spend some more time trekking. From the remote sea town of Punta Arenas, you’ll travel to the Chilean Lake District at Puerto Varas where you’ll begin one of the most spectacular routes in South America, straight across the Andes back to Argentina. You’ll end your Argentina itinerary on the Peninsula Valdes where you can spot penguins, sea lions and whales. The best time to book this trip is from July to December, due to the whale migration along the Peninsula.
