Besides, isn't encountering an adventurous road or two part of the fun? Our Argentina travel specialists will gladly give you advice on which routes you might enjoy taking by car. For instance, if you're travelling through the Salta area you'll drive along a very scenic route during our Andes outback drive.Naturally you can also combine Argentina car hire with other transport options and with Chile car hire. Where to go?Travelling through Argentina by car isn't always practical; especially when you're travelling across large distances. We get quite a few requests for car hire from Bariloche to El Calafate, or from Calafate to Ushuaia in the southern tip of Patagonia. Both routes take several days to cross. Instead of losing time driving across poorly maintained roads through a desolate brown landscape, without roadside assistance, we believe you're better off spending a few days driving in and around these places by car.We personally enjoyed driving across the Valdes Peninsula, but can also recommend cruising through the vineyard covered hills surrounding Mendoza or the Seven Lakes Route in Bariloche's lake region. |
