Where to stay in Argentina and ChileWhen travelling with Argentina Travel Plan you'll stay at accommodation with lots of local charm, entirely befitting the area you're visiting. For each of our Argentina adventure tours and Chile tours, we searched for the most authentic small-scale accommodation available in each area. We avoided the larger, faceless hotels and instead tried to add as much variety as possible to the types of accommodation we offer. That's why you might start off your trip at a boutique hotel or you may even experience true Argentine hospitality at a working estancia in the pampas. A little later on you might find yourself spotting whales from your bedroom window or sitting on a soft sheep skin chair at a cosy Patagonian hosteria. Our dedicated travel specialists will help you find just the right combination of interesting places to stay at.Each accommodation has been handpicked and selected based on a combination of its location, atmosphere, quality of service and price. Have a look below to see what you can expect to find in each accommodation category. Click on the arrow next to each category to see more photos. Special Stay Accommodation Location and comfort are the two most important factors when selecting suitable hotels for this accommodation category. Our choice of hotels in this category are priced slightly higher than our standard accommodation but it offers you something extra special. |

Simple Accommodation Sometimes, when deciding where to stay in Argentina and Chile, there aren't too many options, or accommodation isn't as important as what you'll experience when you step out of the door. Our simple accommodation category offers you modest, yet reasonably comfortable accommodation options. |
Basic Accommodation In this category you really will be going back to basics! When you go on our dramatically beautiful Torres del Paine National Park trek you will be staying in a refugio (Spanish for shelter). You'll sleep in a bunk bed and you'll share facilities with other hikers. Although the shelter is basic, we find that spending the night in a refugio is a great way to meet fellow trekkers and share travel stories. This really adds to your overall trekking experience! If you extend your Torres del Paine trip and book our W-trek then you will get the opportunity to stay at several different refugios along the way. |
